Barbara Koeth launched the Write Source in 1981 in New York City and relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1990. She has worked with a wide range of clients and industries, crafting strategies and tactics – and providing implementation – for uniquely effective communications programs.

Barbara specializes in crafting crisp, clear, well-worded messages. She works independently or with other talented professionals to deliver all-inclusive projects. She is particularly skilled at explaining complicated or sensitive information, and writes with an engaging style – phrasing ideas with words that make target audiences respond.

Professional Experience
Before founding the Write Source, Barbara was employed in increasingly senior communications positions at companies in New York City including Ziff-Davis Publications and Inter-Continental Hotels. Her last management position was as Director of Corporate Communications for Combustion Equipment, Inc.
